Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation’s Garden

Developed through the cooperation of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, TOKİ, and Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation’s Garden was opened to the public in the 100th anniversary of the Republic, becoming the largest green living area in Kayseri. With a total area of 1.26 million square meters and approximately 1 million square meters of green space, it holds the distinction of being the largest Nation’s Garden officially opened in Türkiye.

🌿 Spacious Areas and Social Facilities

The Nation’s Garden features picnic areas spread across different sections, walking and cycling paths, relaxation zones, and various social facilities. The Kayseri Cuisine Restaurant, operated by the Metropolitan Municipality, offers visitors the opportunity to taste local dishes. Throughout the area, there are 15 men’s and women’s restrooms, 15 men’s and women’s prayer rooms, as well as accessible restrooms for visitors with disabilities.

🎶 Event and Cultural Areas

The Nation’s Garden has been designed to host large-scale events and major organizations.

• Two separate event lawns covering 60,000 m² and 20,000 m²
• Stage installation areas
• Amphitheater-style seating areas
• Sound and public announcement systems

With its complete physical infrastructure, the garden is suitable for concerts, festivals, and various cultural events. Large-scale events such as Gastronomy Days have also been held in this area.

💧 Türkiye’s Largest Biological Pond

One of the most remarkable features of the Nation’s Garden is Türkiye’s largest biological pond, covering an area of 39,000 square meters. Natural biofiltration is provided by 16,500 aquatic plants, and the pond offers a visual spectacle with its daytime and nighttime lighting. There are four architecturally designed bridges spanning the pond.

A wide range of facilities is available for visitors who enjoy sports and an active lifestyle:

• A 3 km running and cycling track
• KAYBİS bicycle-sharing system
• 2 football fields
• 5 tennis courts
• 8 basketball courts
• 2 beach volleyball courts
• Outdoor fitness, yoga, and pilates areas
• Türkiye’s second-largest BMX park and skate parks

In addition, the Healthy Living Center includes a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a fitness hall, a spinning area, a pilates studio, and a sauna.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 For Families and Children

The Nation’s Garden features playgrounds at 15 different locations, including equipment suitable for children with disabilities. Visitors can also enjoy 326 covered gazebos, a dog training park, and water and food stations for animals, making the area family- and pet-friendly.

📚 Library and Art Spaces

The National Library offers hot soup and tea for those who want to study or read. With the Provincial Public Library, which is nearing completion, and the art galleries, the area is becoming a center for culture and art.
